What does Laundromat Love provide?

We cover laundry fees for people in laundromats so they can wash as many loads of laundry as needed.

Our hygiene kits contain 27 essential items, including body wipes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bandages, deodorant, tissue paper, hand and body cream, dental care products, a razor, and more—none of which are covered under SNAP. Each kit is packed in a reusable Laundromat Love bag, complete with words of encouragement.

The “Love” in our name is intentional. We train every volunteer to approach people in the laundromat with compassion. Laundromat Love covers the cost of every load of laundry and supplies the hygiene kits for volunteers to distribute.
